Responsibilities of the Mosque and Da'awah Committee
Appoint Imams, Adhans and cleaners of mosques of the Foundation for smooth functioning of the mosques.
Recommend to the Project and Maintenance Committee the need for any work required to be undertaken at the mosques of the Foundation that may include remodeling, repairs, water and electricity supplies or any other infrastructural facility that would be required in the mosques.
Organize tafsir, ta’alimat and muhadharat for the benefit of members of the community and the general public.
Regulate the use of the mosques in terms of call to prayers, conduct of prayers, preaching by visitors, begging, etc and clearly pointing out the dos and don’ts in the mosques for compliance by members of the community.
Coordinate the activities of the Women Sub-Committee for proper and smooth running of the Committee and the Foundation programmes.
Activities of the Committee
Organizing of tafsir for the general public.
Organizing quarterly Muhadara for men and women.
Conducting weekly ta'alimat.
Routine maintenace of the mosque and Imam's house.
